Our Goals

We aim to promote unity, visibility, self-esteem and positive image of the LGBTQIA+ community. Goals include activities to enhance mental and physical health, to provide social support, and foster an awareness of past and present contributions of LGBTQIA+ people. We celebrate our diversity annually at our PRIDE event.

Monthly Meetup Events

We have monthly meetup events at local breweries, restaurants and at other venues around Hendersonville in the future. Each get-together will be identified in our calendar on this website.

Blue Ridge Pride 2023

Hendersonville Pride will have a presence at Blue Ridge Pride (Sept. 30) in Asheville at Pack Square. Come to Asheville and stop by and say hello at the Hendersonville Pride booth.

Fletcher Art in the Park

Hendersonville Pride will be at Art in the Park (Oct. 6). For those of you with kids, you won't want to miss this upcoming event!! We will be there. Make sure to stop by our booth and say hello!

Our 3rd Pride Picnic on June 10, 2023. Wonderful day full of loving family and friends. Over 1,000 people shared positive energy and great company at the annual event. There were 10 Welcoming Religious and 29 Non-profit organizations exhibiting.

How We're Helping

We are a group of volunteers working to educate our community and to create an open and accepting environment for LGBTQIA+ families living in the Hendersonville, North Carolina area. Hendersonville Gay Pride actively works to create awareness of the power of diversity and to unite the community through PRIDE events and other activities.
