We aim to promote unity, visibility, self-esteem and positive image of the LGBTQIA+ community. Goals include activities to enhance mental and physical health, to provide social support, and foster an awareness of past and present contributions of LGBTQIA+ people. We celebrate our diversity annually at our PRIDE event.

Hendersonville Pride Week Proclamation will be presented by Hendersonville Mayor Barbara Volk at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 900 Blythe Street on Saturday, May 30th at the beginning of the 3:00 PM Atlanta Gay Men's Chorus Concert.

You are encouraged to bring a dish or beverage to share. Music will be provided by DJ Sassy Sue to keep your feet moving. Various LGBTQ+ organizations will be represented. Please car pool or use Uber/Lyft to the picnic.

We are a group of volunteers working to educate our community and to create an open and accepting environment for LGBTQIA+ families living in the Hendersonville, North Carolina area. Hendersonville Gay Pride actively works to create awareness of the power of diversity and to unite the community through PRIDE events and other activities.
